The short version
Your photo is processed entirely in your web browser, on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else — unless you sign in and choose to save a finished photo, which is then kept privately for 30 days.
Your photo
- Face finding, background replacement, cropping, the checks and the downloads all run inside your browser.
- The face and background models are downloaded to your browser like any other part of the page; your photo is not sent anywhere.
- The photo stays in your browser tab’s memory until you close the tab, choose “Start over” or “Delete now”.
- We never keep face measurements, face “templates” or image contents.
Accounts and saved photos (optional)
You never need an account to make a photo. If you choose to sign in — with your email address and a code or a password — you can save finished photos to download again later.
- Your account is a Zomsi account (Zomsi Info Tech Private Limited) and works across Zomsi apps. We keep your email address and sign-in details.
- When you choose “Save”, we store the finished passport photo (not your original photo), the country and its size in a private storage area only your account can open.
- Saved photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete one at any time in My photos.
What we don’t collect
No name, phone number or identity document number is needed or collected. Without signing in, nothing about you or your photo is stored.
Usage information
Only if you choose “Allow” in the bar at the bottom of the page, we count anonymous visits and steps — for example that a photo was prepared or downloaded, the chosen country and how long processing took — using Google Analytics for Firebase. These never include images, faces or file names. If you choose “No thanks”, nothing is sent. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers this page may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Children
A parent or guardian should prepare photos for children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will change too.
